Dr. Kemp earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Daemen University and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry.

During her clinical training, Dr. Kemp completed externships in primary eye care, cataract care, specialty contact lenses, dry eye management, pediatrics, glaucoma, neuro-optometry, and geriatric eye care. She gained extensive experience performing comprehensive eye examinations and managing a wide range of ocular conditions including glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other retinal disorders.

Dr. Kemp has a special interest in comprehensive eye care, dry eye treatment, specialty contact lenses, and patient education. Her clinical experience includes fitting scleral, hybrid, orthokeratology, multifocal, and specialty contact lenses, as well as providing pre- and post-operative care for cataract surgery patients.

Prior to optometry school, Dr. Kemp worked as an ophthalmic technician, where she developed a strong foundation in patient care and diagnostic testing. She is committed to providing personalized, compassionate eye care and helping patients achieve their best possible vision.

Dr. Kemp will join Cornerstone Eye Associates in Fall 2026 and looks forward to providing exceptional eye care to patients throughout the Rochester community.
