Our Doctors

Melissa Herman, OD is an optometrist completing her Doctor of Optometry degree at Nova Southeastern University, with licensure in Florida and New York. She brings a strong foundation in both comprehensive eye care and specialty services, including contact lens fittings, ocular disease management, and vision therapy.

Dr. Herman holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University and in Biology and Psychology from SUNY Geneseo. Her clinical training has spanned diverse settings—from private practices and OD/MD surgical centers to the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center—where she managed patients with glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other complex eye conditions.

Melissa is passionate about delivering personalized, high-quality eye care and values building long-term relationships with her patients. Her interests include specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and ocular disease.
