Cataract Surgery

Do you remember the days when cataract surgery meant a stay in the hospital with sandbags around your head and thick glasses to be able to see afterward?  We've come a long way since those days!  Today, cataract surgery is done at an outpatient facility and patients are able to recover in the comfort of their own homes.  Lens implant options allow pateints the opportunity to decide what kind of vision they'd like to have after cataract surgery as well.  Patients can choose from distance, near, monovision or even premium lenses like the Toric IOL that will correct astigmatism or Crystalens, which allows good vision for distance and near without the need for glasses.  At Cornerstone Eye Associates, our surgeons will help guide patients to choose the best option to fit their daily visions needs.  Our goal is your vision for life!
