I had a wonderful experience here. I wanted Lasik and qualified for PRK, same corrective eye procedure just a different way getting past my cornea because I have an astigmatism. Staff was fabulous, classes were nice (to educate you on what the procedure was), recovery care was simple and easy. I have recommended friends to them and am about to call Cornerstone to see if they have any recommendations for any Lasik places in S. Carolina. I love my eyesight now, Thank you Cornerstone Eye Associates.

I recently underwent Lasik eye surgery at the Buffalo Rd location for Cornerstone Eye Associates. I had heard many great things about this practice which is what led me to call. My first appointment was the consultation. Not only was everyone friendly and knowledgeable, which you would hope to expect when considering such a big life decision, they were realistic with me. They didn’t sugar coat anything as far as what to expect the day of surgery and following the surgery. They gave me the good, the bad and all of the in between. I appreciated that because I didn’t feel surprised by anything. The procedure was very impressive. It felt like the doctor and nurses practically had it down to a dance. Everything flowed, nobody fumbled, communication between them all was crystal clear, and the entire procedure took about 15 minutes. The doctor was calmly explaining every step of the way and telling me what I should expect to see, hear, feel, etc. Again, this removes a lot of anxiety when you know what is going to happen. The nurses were right next to me assuring me the whole time of how well everything was going and how close we were to being done. There is no pain during the procedure. Any after symptoms were in line with what they told me, which made them easier to tolerate. When I went back the next day for my post-op I had so many staff members check in with me, even people that were not a part of my surgery day. Recovery was quick in my opinion. I was back at work right away. The best part about this is the vision improvement is immediate! I couldn’t believe it when I sat up in the procedure room and could instantly see everything far away with no glasses or contacts. I heard this from everyone and now I agree, Lasik surgery is completely worth it. And I am so happy I chose Cornerstone for such a big decision.

Amazing experience today ! Was in and out during my lunch break with full exam .Treated with extreme kindness all around. Especially Lee Buttagi , Angel and Julie who were extremely knowledgeable and explained and listened to everything. Thanku Gene Watson ……Had to add to my prior opinion as I had another appointment for fitting my glasses .. Sara was absolutely amazing along with Julie !! Thanku

Cornerstone has been my eye doctor for about 1 or 2 years now. They have always taken good care of me, especially when I had a concern with new and very sharp eye pain earlier this year. They were able to get me in right away and took my concerns seriously. I appreciate the care and concern they have for their patients!

I have been with this practice for many years and I can't say enough good things about them. Dr. Park performed my cataract surgeries wonderfully. Dr. Chazan is a delight to see for my routine care and every specialist I have seen for my glaucoma has been excellent.

I checked out Rochester area eye surgeons for two months before choosing Dr. Park, and I couldn't be happier that I found him. I realize that cataract surgery is now pretty standard, but my sister had had a problem with her VT surgeon so I was extra careful. Both my cataract procedures went beautifully, and I can't say enough about the personnel he has supporting him – both at Cornerstone and at Brighton Surgical Center. All were not just professionally competent, but were caring and thoughtful. One couldn't ask for more! I would recommend Dr. Park and his team to anyone.

I had been contemplating getting LASIK for years and I finally took the plunge. I called and spoke with Melissa who was very friendly, efficient & booked my consultation on 03/10. My consultation/testing was done with Juan who was very nice, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I was ecstatic when Dr. Chaisson (who was also awesome, he did an extra test for glaucoma on my eyes for his peace of mind) said I was a LASIK candidate! I booked my surgery for 04/16 but the sooner the better so I asked to be placed on the cancellation list. I got a call from Melissa on 03/29 saying they had a cancellation and if I’d like to move my surgery date to 04/06 instead and of course I agreed! Day of surgery arrived and my nurse Joanna was phenomenal in explaining the entire process to me from start to finish, everything she said would happen, happened (She even told me the exact amount of hours my symptoms would stop and she was spot on). In the surgery room I was met by the smiling faces of Bobbi Jo, Michelle and Juan who got me prepped and comfortable for Dr. Hanuch. Once the procedure started I was done in about 20 minutes and it was literally a breeze. The whole office moves like a very well oiled machine. they are extraordinary. At my post op the next morning Dr. Hanuch welcomed me to the 20/20 club (woohoo!) and said I may be joining the 20/15 club in the near future. To my surprise Melissa gave me a DVD of my procedure (so cool!) and a t-shirt. This was probably one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and my only regret is not doing it sooner. It blows my mind how easy everything was for the life changing reward of perfect vision. I am forever grateful that Cornerstone Eye Associates made my whole experience so wonderful from start to finish I can’t thank them enough and recommend them to everyone.
