In the spirit of the 2016 Summer Olympics, here is a pretty cool fact that you may not have known!

Did you know that Olympic Swimmers were not allowed to use goggles in the Olympics until 1976?

Wearing goggles helps the swimmers achieve the best vision possible when underwater and also protect their eyes from harmful chemicals in the pool. Well known swimmer and gold medalist Michael Phelps prefers polarized goggles to enhance his vision when he swims.
