4. Spring Hinges

Spring hinges applied to kids' eyeglasses allow the frame's temple to bend outward when putting glasses on or taking them off. Moreover, flexible metal frames are also available for kids' eyeglasses but tend to be more expensive.

5. Photochromatic Lenses

Most parents are aware of the need to protect their children’s eyes from the sun’s potentially harmful glare and UV rays. Photochromatic lenses automatically darken when your child goes outside to play, and automatically lighten when they return indoors.

6. Warranties

Cornerstone Eye Associates warranties Doctor’s Rx changes for 60 days from the date the RX is written (lenses will be redone at no charge), 1 year scratch replacement warranty on lenses (provided a scratch resistant coating is purchased), a 2 year scratch warranty on premium lenses, and a 1 year defective frame replacement warranty. An upgraded warranty can be purchased at the time your glasses are dispensed for an additional $35.00 that covers the replacement of lost or stolen glasses at 50% off regular retail pricing for one year.
