Hi, this is Michele the Refractive Surgery Coordinator for Cornerstone Eye Associates here in Rochester NY. We provide comprehensive eye services for patient of all ages. We offer a variety of services from eye exams, contact lens fittings, cataract surgery, glaucoma management, diabetic eyecare to LASIK and PRK. We have the first and longest practicing fellowship trained Glaucoma specialist in town and now have a Retina specialist on staff. We even have Optical Studios at all three of our locations to help patients pick out the newest styles in eyeglasses. My favorite part of what we do here at Cornerstone Eye Associates is to help patients get rid of the nusiance of glasses and contact lenses. People who have Refractive Surgery procedures, such as LASIK or PRK tell me all the time what a life changing experience it is! The best part is when they come in for their one day post op visit and I show them what they could see before and after without glasses. At this point most patients get a little emotional, I have even had some of them cry because they had never been able to read the eye chart before without their glasses. Talk about rewarding!
